Human Resources Manager, and Operations in Toronto or Vancouver will play a pivotal role in driving HR excellence for CC&L Financial Group. This position will be responsible for overseeing the human resources functions, acting as a strategic partner to business leaders, and managing operational HR activities.
What You Will DoHuman Resources Management- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's short- and long-term goals.
- Provide guidance and support for conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Manage performance evaluation systems, including goal setting, coaching, and facilitating feedback conversations to support continuous improvement.
- Support and deliver company-wide projects such as employee engagement initiatives, training, and development.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
Business Partnership- Collaborate with leadership teams to align talent strategies with business objectives and growth plans.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on complex HR matters, providing insights and solutions on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational change.
- Design and implement employee engagement strategies that enhance satisfaction, productivity, and retention.
Operations- Oversee the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring execution of processes and initiatives.
- Lead the management and optimization of HR information systems, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
What You Bring- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a progressive HR role, with at least 2 years in HR management. Strong understanding of Canadian employment laws and HR best practices.
- Education: You have an undergraduate degree or diploma in Human Resource Management. CHRP or CHRL designation is considered an asset.
- Relationship Management: Proven ability to build strong partnerships and influence business decisions with all leadership.
- Data Analytics: The ability to collect and use high-quality data and analytics across HR value chain matters to support diagnosing people issues.
- Resourcefulness: Effective decision-making, critical thinking, and problem resolution skills.
CompensationThe starting salary for this position is $105,000. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position.
