HR Director | DCC Technology

Join us as an HR Operations Director and spearhead our dedicated team of six HR professionals. You’ll play a pivotal role in harmonizing HR initiatives with business objectives, leveraging your strong leadership and deep expertise in employee relations, workforce planning, compliance, and culture to foster a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Leadership: Craft and execute strategic HR plans that align with our overarching goals. Lead critical workforce initiatives, including restructures and succession planning.
2. Cultural Development: Cultivate a positive work culture that champions engagement, diversity, and inclusion. Manage employee relations and oversee comprehensive engagement activities.
3. Legal & Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to employment laws across the US and Canada. Handle legal and union matters proficiently.
4. Performance & Talent Enhancement: Direct all aspects of performance management and talent retention strategies. Enhance our merit-based recognition programs.
5. HR Technology & Analytics: Utilize Ceridian Dayforce HRIS for optimal HR management. Employ analytics to back strategic decisions and improve HR metrics.
6. Safety & Compliance: Engage in health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance across locations.
7. Effective Offboarding: Manage offboarding processes smoothly and use exit data to refine retention strategies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related; Master’s preferred.
2. At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, with 3+ years in leadership.
3. Fluent in both English and French, with exemplary communication skills.
4. Proficient in US and Canada employment regulations, Ceridian Dayforce, and HR analytics.
5. Experience in unionized settings is an asset.
