Job Summary:RSC Consulting Services is looking for a hands-on, experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day functioning of our warehousing and cleaning operations at client sites. This role requires a strong leader who can manage teams, drive performance, ensure high service standards, and maintain strong client relationships.
You will be directly responsible for ensuring that our warehousing processes and cleaning services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with contractual obligations and company values.
Key Responsibilities:Team & People Management:
- Lead and manage teams across warehousing and cleaning operations on-site
- Ensure proper staffing, task delegation, and productivity targets are met
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and results-driven work environment
- Conduct on-site coaching, performance management, and basic training support
Operational Execution:
- Manage daily workflows and operations within both the warehouse and cleaning departments
- Oversee inventory control, stock movements, and warehouse efficiencies
- Ensure cleaning schedules and standards are consistently met or exceeded
- Maintain accurate records of operational activity and compliance
Client Interaction:
- Serve as the main point of contact for client site representatives
- Attend regular client meetings and resolve queries or complaints promptly
- Align operations to meet client expectations, SLAs, and KPIs
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct routine inspections and lead corrective action where needed
- Promote a strong safety culture among all staff
Cost & Resource Management:
- Monitor labour hours, material usage, and operational expenses
- Ensure cost-effective practices without compromising quality
- Assist in planning for resourcing, overtime, and special projects
Reporting & Administration:
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports as required
- Maintain incident logs, shift summaries, and performance dashboards
- Assist with audits and ensure proper documentation is in place
Minimum Requirements:- Tertiary qualification
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an operations or site management role
- Background in warehousing and/or industrial cleaning services
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent knowledge of operational workflows, inventory handling, and cleaning protocols
- Understanding of health and safety standards and compliance requirements
- Good client-facing skills and ability to build trusted relationships
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of WMS & SAP EWM is a plus
- Own transport and valid driver’s license (required)
