Our Financial Management team is at the heart of Capitec’s strategic goals, driving financial excellence, innovation, and long-term business growth. The role of finance professionals at Capitec is evolving from transactional tasks to more strategic and advisory responsibilities, focusing on real-time insights, integrated systems, and data-driven decision-making, all while emphasizing sustainability and risk management.

You will be overseeing the insurance division, understanding its various aspects, and supporting financial decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Financial Planning & Analysis – Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to drive strategic financial decisions.
• Business Partnership – Serve as a key liaison between Executives, Heads of Departments, and Financial Management, ensuring alignment on financial matters.
• Strategic Financial Support – Provide insights that connect operational drivers, business strategy, and financial performance, enabling accurate and effective decision-making.

Your contributions will play a crucial role in optimizing financial performance and driving business success.

• CA(SA) qualification with 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in insurance is preferred but not essential.
• Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset.
• Ability to analyze financial data and translate insights into action.
• Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
