Business Development Manager - South Africa
We have a career opportunity with a leading global manufacturer of industrial adhesives.
Speciality Chemical / Adhesives / Sealant background is must
The role may be based at any of these locations - Johannesburg/ Cape Town/ Durban
The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing market share profitably in defined strategic markets and accounts. The job focuses on all the business segments including Rigid Packaging (mainly for the F&B industry) and Engineering Adhesives. Also included are the (non-woven), End of line packaging, Flexible packaging, paper converting, Graphic arts etc. The right candidate should be experienced in leading and managing a team of Technical Sales Professionals to deliver high performance. She/He should be experienced in managing distributor business partners
We are looking for candidates only from the Speciality chemicals industry who have the experience of technical selling to customers
Previous experience of Technical Sales to Packaging customers will be an advantage.
Proven track record of successful market development with a minimum of 10 years technical sales experience.

Vacancy 1 - The Sales Professional is responsible for growing market share profitably in defined strategic markets and business segments. The role focuses on Rigid packaging, end of line packaging applications, convertors, Graphic arts (printing industries). The role reports to the Business Development Manager - South Africa.
Vacancy 2 – The Sales Professional is responsible for growing market share profitably in defined strategic markets and business segments. The role focusses on Engineering Adhesives applications in the South African market.
Proven track record of successful market development with a minimum of 5 years technical sales experience.
Strong driver for results and success. Shows passion for the role.
Ability to harness and manage important business relationships.
Strong oral, presentation and written communication skills
