Job description

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years’ Solution Industry experience of which at least 8 years’ need to be within the Temporary Employment Service (TES) industry, responsible for recruitment, operational delivery, and sales.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience at management level with a proven track record of ensuring the running of a profitable operation nationally.
  • Knowledge of the Labour Relations Act (LRA), Temporary Employment Services (TES) industry, the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Bargaining Councils and Sectoral Determinations.
  • Previous Industrial Relations (IR) experience and knowledge of IR.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Valid drivers’ license with own reliable vehicle (essential).

Preferred Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Ability to work under extreme pressure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Compliance and Documentation Management:

  • Ensure all paperwork for assignees is accurately maintained and up to date.
  • Manage and ensure adherence to Company and Client requirements regarding timesheets, supporting documentation, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure all documentation is audit-ready and meets regulatory standards.

Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management:

  • Maintain professional and effective communication with clients, management, and branches.
  • Address client queries promptly and accurately to maintain positive relationships.
  • Drive business development through relationship building and expanding service offerings.

Operational Efficiency and Site Management:

  • Oversee operational staff to ensure efficient staff mobilization, project delivery, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Monitor and report on operational staff’s daily activities and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
  • Manage the sourcing, vetting, and deployment of staff to meet client requirements.
  • Responsible for the operational efficiencies and service delivery of the branch.

Financial Oversight and Business Development:

  • Manage client invoicing, payment processes, and resolve employee pay queries promptly.
  • Drive business growth by expanding headcount, securing new contracts, and conducting regular client visits.
  • Participate in business meetings, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with financial procedures.

Leadership and Deadline Management:

  • Provide strong leadership to ensure high-performance standards across multiple sites or business units.
  • Work efficiently towards deadlines while maintaining quality service delivery and safety protocols.
  • Lead by example in adhering to safety procedures and meeting mid-term deadlines for client requirements.
  • Ensuring agility of recruitment process management and efficiencies as well as recruitment delivery management.
