Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Farm Manager. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with at least 5 years of experience in an operational or management role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily farm activities, ensuring smooth operation and efficiency.
2. Develop and implement procedures to enhance productivity and overall performance.
3. Supervise staff and team leaders, setting work schedules and maintaining compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
4. Monitor inventory levels and logistics, identifying areas for improvement.
5. Prepare regular reports and present findings to the management team.
6. Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in business administration, logistics, operations management, or related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in an operational or management role, preferably in agriculture or a similar industry.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
4. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems.
5. Valid driver's license, with preference for Code 10 or higher.
6. Physically fit to handle farm and warehouse environments.

Desirable Qualities:

1. Knowledge of GlobalG.A.P. or similar standards.
2. Fluency in Afrikaans and English.
3. Analytical thinking with a focus on results.
4. Team building and people management skills.
