Job Opportunity: Creditors Clerk / Bookkeeper (Temp with Potential for Permanent)
Are you an experienced creditors clerk or bookkeeper with a passion for retail and high-end fashion? We have an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious designer clothing brand with 8 stores nationwide, based in our Stamford Hill Road, Durban location.
Role Overview:
As a Creditors Clerk / Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in bringing client accounts up to date initially, assisting with various financial functions, and ensuring smooth retail operations. This is a temporary position to start, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Account Management: Bringing client accounts up to date.
- Finance & Retail Functions: Assisting with cash-ups, and other retail finance duties as required.
- Reporting: Working directly under the guidance of the Finance Manager to ensure all financial operations are accurately executed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience as a creditors clerk/bookkeeper, ideally within a retail environment.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage client accounts effectively.
- Attributes: Proactive, reliable, and a strong communicator with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Location: This position is based at our Stamford Hill Road, Durban location.
