Creditors Admin Clerk

Our well-known automotive dealer client in Pinetown currently holds a vacancy for an Administrator: Warranty Clerk. The purpose of the role is to provide prompt and quality service to customers relating to the service, repair, and maintenance of vehicles, acting as an interface between the technical team and the customer to ensure cost-effective repairs and quality service is delivered to customers.

Position Overview:

1. Loading of all warranty claims on system
2. Control over warranty claim store
3. Warranty audits
4. Warranty parts disposal with RSM
5. Warranty claims, payment follow up

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Minimum requirement: Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
2. A minimum of 2-3 years in the automotive service industry.
3. Prior experience in a technical role or as a service advisor and/or Warranty Clerk would be ideal.
4. Basic technical understanding and background are essential.
5. Direct experience as a Warranty / Costing Clerk
6. Relevant OEM experience is highly desired.
7. Valid, unendorsed driver's license and the ability to competently and legitimately drive.
8. Computer literate.
9. Knowledge of dealership policies and procedures is essential.
10. Knowledge of competitive motor industry.
11. Knowledge of relevant operating systems would be an advantage.
12. Multilingual with languages generally spoken across the area and customer base is necessary.
13. General understanding of mechanical/technical terms is essential.
14. Basic knowledge of accounting practices is highly desired.
