Job Description
As our Manager of Credit Evaluation, you will:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of counterparty credit risks within acceptable parameters
- Lead and develop a team of credit analysts, ensuring high-quality risk assessments
- Analyse and interpret complex financial data, providing clear insights for decision-making
- Ensure compliance with credit procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements, including Basel standards
- Evaluate vanilla lending and derivative products, assessing associated risks
- Present credit applications to the Credit Committee and manage commercial property finance mandates as required

Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
Academic Requirements:
- First Degree in Business Commerce or a closely related field
Professional Experience:
- Credit Risk Management (minimum 3-4 years)
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial markets, global economy, and relevant regional geographies pertaining to the portfolio
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex credit risks within stringent parameters
- Financial Products Expertise (minimum 3-4 years)
- In-depth understanding of vanilla lending and derivative products
- Proven proficiency in assessing facilities that generate counterparty credit risks
- Expertise in evaluating and managing documentation required to mitigate associated risks
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management (minimum 3-4 years):
- Thorough conceptual and practical knowledge of credit procedures, policies, and standards
- Comprehensive understanding of products and facilities that give rise to counterparty credit risk
- Extensive knowledge of Basel standards and broader regulatory and compliance requirements in the banking sector

- Unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and regulatory compliance
Additional Requirements:
- Commercial property finance mandate experience. Candidates must specify their mandate limit, if applicable.
- Demonstrated experience in presenting Credit Applications to respective Credit Committees
