- Facilitates retention, performance management, employee development, assist in compensation reviews, participate in recruitment and HR Operations matters.
- Manage employee’s on-boarding, internal HR database, disciplinary issues and benefits management.
- Responsible for HR fundamentals by supporting and advising, in the areas of, but not limited to: managing performance, discipline, grievance, terminations and develop appropriate strategies to drive improvements or changes to ensure consistency in employment practices and the maintenance of healthy industrial relations.
- Develop structured programs, corrective action and activities to ensure successful HR programs, initiatives and processes.
- Support HR Management team to execute HR operational and strategic plans for the assigned departments/clients.
- Execute HR processes, initiatives and ensure compliance/adherence to HR Policies.
- Anticipate and address HR related trends and issues impacting the business and provide insights, recommendations and solutions to enhance their effectiveness, maintain good employee relations, employee engagement and teamwork.
- Anticipate and resolve any issues and/or concerns raised by employees and managers on matters pertaining to HR for the respective department/client.
- Deal with employment and welfare issues.
- Maintain awareness of changes in employment law, government policy and emergency of best practice using this to provide strategic advice to colleagues/operation managers on effective use of human resource and all organizational development issues.
- Advise and coach line managers on dealing with performance management issues and individual employee relations issues (e.g. discipline, grievance, harassment).
- Working closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
- Ensuring correct procedures are followed when dealing with policy procedures such as sickness absence, holiday etc, minuting meetings and coordinating case conferences are required.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least Bachelor Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relation/Business Administration/Law or equivalent.
- Knowledge in Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations Act 1967.
- Minimum five (5) years experience in HR in a leadership role.
- 8 to 10 years working experience in HR Generalist background, with broad understanding of Staffing, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Labor & Employee Relation.
- Resourceful, self-motivated and analytical.
- Good interpersonal and excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- An eye for details and is meticulous at all times with a highly committed positive work attitude.
- Strong executive focus combined with the ability to multi-task, with attention to details and managing time productively to meet deadlines.
- Ability to independently plan and carry out assigned duties diligently.
- Adaptability to change and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Pleasant personality, approachable disposition and good team player.

- Must also have up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office packages.
HR EXECUTIVE Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll for staff, which include salary, OT, sales commissions, incentives, bonuses, benefits, taxes, and various payroll deductions as well as maintain payroll records.
- Prepare HR related correspondence and documentation with careful attention to legal requirements and HR practice such as employment letter, confirmation, promotion/increment, counselling warning, disciplinary letter, memo, policy and etc.
- Generate monthly payroll reports and perform reconciliation.
- To perform monthly statutory submissions to government authorities (LHDN, KWSP, SOSCO, EIS) and ensure all statutory requirements are adhered to at all times.
- Stay updated on payroll legislation, tax regulations and prepare yearly EA forms for all employees.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and address employee pay-related issues.
- To update and maintain employee records, attendance, leave in HR system and employee personnel files from time to time.
- Involve in the yearly salary review exercise and year-end bonuses distribution.
- Attend to all employees’ queries pertaining to HR policies & procedures.
- Responsible for on-boarding activity. To assist in conducting employee orientation and facilitating newcomers joining formalities.
- Others ad-hoc task that may be assigned from time to time.
- Manage all administrative duties, ensuring smooth office operations.
- Schedule staff training sessions as directed, supporting employee development.
- Provide valuable support to the HR Manager on various tasks and projects.
- Conduct filing tasks, maintain organized records and documentation for all assigned responsibilities.
HR EXECUTIVE Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Business Studies / Administration / HR Management or equivalent.
- Preferably with minimum 5 years of working experience in relevant fields or preferably in a service industry.
- An added advantage for those with working experience in Times Software.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Power Point)
- Proficient in both written and spoken in English, Bahasa and Mandarin.
- Able to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Meticulous & good organisational / task-oriented / administrative skills.
