As the HR Executive of LEDVANCE Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for handling the human resource operation inclusive of but not limited to recruitment process, payroll, leaves management for Singapore and Malaysia and looking after healthcare and general office administrative. This position is vital in supporting the company’s HR operations and initiatives; hence you are expected to be proactive and display the ability to be agile, independent and able to handle sensitive employee information while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment to retire process based on the requirement of respective heads of department, including sourcing, screening, onboarding of new hires and termination.
  • Maintain employee records and files in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations within LEDVANCE group and accordance with the updated local government regulatory and employment laws.
  • Ensure proper process is adhered in relations to disciplinary actions such as show cause letters, warning letters, Performance Improvement Plan, and domestic inquiries etc.
  • Administer payroll, leave, employee benefits, health care and Insurances, and other HR-related processes.
  • Organize employee training programs and HRDF training grant.
  • Assist in implementation of HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives.
  • Responsible for office Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) matters and being focal person for all emergency response and preparedness procedures.
  • Responsible for office maintenance / services schedule inclusive of but not limited to office cleanliness, office supplies, pantries and others related ad-hoc requests.
  • Issuance of Purchase request and Purchase order.
  • Responsible as a local compliance officer and closely align with the local management and global compliance team for any updated policies and procedures need to be implemented in the country.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or possess HR professional certification with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of general HR professional experience, preferably with leading international companies.
  • Knowledge of relevant HR laws and understanding of local regulations, especially in Malaysia, Singapore, or some ASEAN countries.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels whilst able to keep the integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, able to multitask and work with minimum supervision.
  • Proficient in MS-Office applications eg. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good command of verbal and written in Mandarin will be a plus.
