Job description

Club 21 Malaysia is in the hunt for a Human Resource Executive to join our dynamic Human Resource Department team!

The Human Resource Executive is responsible for day-to-day operations which cover payroll administration, leave management, compensation & benefits processing, staff movements record management, HR portal upkeep, data & reporting activities, and supporting the overall organizational corporate objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monthly payroll activities such as collating and validating inputs, output, and statutory payments for Malaysia by working closely with the local payroll vendor in a timely manner, with a high level of accuracy.
  • Responsible for compiling monthly HR reports, statistics, forecasts, ad-hoc requests as well as year-end reporting.
  • Manage the tabulation of sales incentives and ad hoc variable pay elements with accuracy and promptly.
  • Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records.
  • Design, document and implement procedures to streamline payroll processes.
  • Handle internal inquiries regarding payroll, insurance, claims and act as the main liaison with respective external vendors.
  • Timely update of employee data in HRIS and maintain the highest level of accuracy.
  • Partner and work collaboratively with the local HR team and HRIS to elevate employee experience.
  • Take on other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business majors.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience with a related, fast-growing, multi-business company.
  • Proven track record in providing high standards of payroll processing, verification and checking skills.
  • Solid knowledge of Malaysia regulations and statutory requirements related to salaries, taxes, benefits and other payroll-related matters required.
  • Experience in dealing with external payroll vendors and using SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to create detailed spreadsheets, charts and presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, as well as analytical skills and operational efficiency.
  • Enjoy working with people and possess excellent communication skills, relationship-building skills and a positive mindset.
  • A team player who is a fast learner, resourceful, independent, has an eye for detail, is numerical and highly adaptable to fast-changing environments.
  • Good computer skills in Office 365, mainly in Ms Excel and Ms Word.
  • Good communication skills in English (Mandarin speaking skill is an added advantage).
