Oliver James Consulting is partnering with a top-tier global insurer to find a Recharge Accountant for a high-impact finance transformation project. This role will play a crucial part in managing intercompany recharge processes, ensuring compliance, and setting up robust financial controls for investment tracking.
Intercompany Accounting & Financial Controls - Ensure seamless tracking, documentation, and approval of intercompany transactions.
Process Setup & Optimization - Establish new workflows to improve intercompany recharges and financial governance.
Audit & Compliance Support - Conduct detailed inventory checks of agreements, gather approval evidence, and ensure compliance for audit purposes.
Finance System Cleanup - Work on tagging, cleaning up, and improving Coupa and Oracle financial systems.
Independent Project Execution - Take ownership of project recharges, ensuring all records and processes are aligned with regulatory requirements.
Qualified Accountant with strong experience in operational finance and intercompany accounting at a regional or group level.
Financial Services background - Understanding of controls, compliance, and governance in a regulated industry.
Strong attention to detail - Ability to review agreements, track approvals, and prepare audit evidence.
Self-starter with independent working ability - Capable of setting up and improving financial processes with minimal supervision.
Experience with Coupa and Oracle is a plus!
