Overview
Epic Communities Sdn Bhd, bas ed in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking talent with high attention to detail, property management experience and a heart for people, as a Property & Community Lead. Our products & services include design & build consultation, placemaking and property management. Our clientele ranges between GLCs, MNCs or international corporation to non-governmental organisations, to community associations and individuals. Projects span from developing off-grid, modular housing to development of community-centric hubs.

The candidate will be reporting to Upper Management . The scope requires the candidate to manage the upkeep of a community park and its assets & facilities while actively engaging with community stakeholders to create a vibrant and participative community through and around the space.
Essential Job Functions
Performance Management and Reporting
- To work closely with Upper management to achieve larger goals and objectives of the project.
- To ensure that all KPIs are being met, this includes financial, sustainability and community impact goals.
- To plan, and prepare all relevant reports for management and the relevant clients.
- Budgeting and financial management.
Operations and Asset Maintenance
- Develop maintenance plans, providing systematic approach inclusive of setting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for day-to-day management of the spaces and operations. and oversee its successful implementation
- Manage and maintain day-to-day operations of the place and activities of the property.
- Ensure effective and efficient management of the common areas through routine checks.
- To manage, administer and supervise the appointed contractors and their staff and when required to take necessary action to ensure the performance and conduct of the contractors are satisfactory at all time.
- To assist in collection of fees, to generate and distribute invoices for rentals, utilities and service charges.
- To assist in the coordination on booking systems for day rental spaces and management of the yearly booking calendar.
- To monitor and ensure compliance of all tenant’s covenants as stipulated in the tenancy agreement and house rules.
Community Engagement
- Engage and attend to feedback from community members and visitors properly and ensure timely and appropriate responses to feedback and inquiry.
- Building relationships with the neighbouring community of Subang Jaya. Including fostering an environment of goodwill.
- To lead the ideation and provision of suitable space, and relevant equipment for the implementation of events and activities in order to create community building activities and community empowerment.
- Assisting HQ to source, develop and grow partnerships with individuals and organisations that are aligned to project objectives.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Team Leadership and management skills
- Strong organisation skills, ability to multitask, with attention to detail.
- Self disciplined and able to maintain a routine to consistently maintain high standards.
- Hospitality and customer service skills will be an added advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu. Chinese and Tamil will be an advantage.
- Able to work independently, well-organised and capable of meeting deadlines and proactively following-up.
Experience
- Have experience in leading teams.
- Huge advantage if you’re a local from Subang.
- Experience in facilities management, real estate, project management, hotel management or building related qualifications.
- Fresh graduates may apply for the position. Added advantage for candidate with working experience in property management.
- Team work oriented with good communication skills.
- Designation and remuneration package shall commensurate with experience level.
Remuneration
We will commensurate with relevant work experience and qualifications within the range of RM3500-RM5500.
