Senior Executive, Contracts Management (Yong Peng, Johor)

Responsibilities

1. Manage Pavement Work Orders (WO) from initial acceptance to final approval in the ROSS system.
2. Prepare and submit Claim Monthly Summary (CMS) for Work Order Bundling (WOB) to PLUS Region for approval.
3. Submit Final Bill of Quantities (BQ) with supporting documents in the ROSS system for WOB and normal WO.
4. Request and process Interim Payment Certificates (ICP) at various progress stages for both WOB and normal WO.
5. Prepare and submit Internal ICP approvals upon receiving client-approved ICP in the ROSS system.
6. Create and process Subcontractor Agreements (SCA) and additional Work Orders in the ROSS system.
7. Generate and validate Joint Measurement Sheets (JMS) for contractors based on progress and final work done.
8. Prepare Certificates of Payment (COP) for contractors, ensuring all supporting documents are included.
9. Oversee integration of RAMS, ROSS EIS, ROSS PLUS, and ORACLE systems, ensuring smooth claim and payment processing.
10. Monitor, track, and report on Pavement WO claims, contractor payments, and Traffic Work Order-related COP.

Requirement

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Contract Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Professional certifications such as RISM (Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia) or CIDB accreditation are an added advantage.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in contracts management, procurement, or cost control within the infrastructure maintenance, construction, or highway industry.
4. Strong understanding of contract administration, claims processing, and payment certification.
