The Head of HR D&T is responsible for leading the D&T strategy, delivery, and operations for the human resources and Legal functions at Aramex. The role oversees the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of IT solutions that support the business processes and objectives of the HR and Legal team. The role also manages the IT budget, resources, vendors, and stakeholders for the HR and Legal domains. The incumbent will also be overseeing and delivering D&T solutions and services that support the company's sustainability initiatives.
The overall purpose of this role is to:
Customer:
• Be highly proactive in understanding the Technology requirements of HR and Legal functions as Key customer. Establishes and promotes the overall vision for how Customer’s objectives are met.
• Actively manage relationships with the most senior stakeholders, and be the ultimate escalation point for issue resolution. Provide regular insights of new and emerging technology with a view to what can be adopted and trialed in Aramex.
People:
• Develop a high performing function by attracting, developing, and retaining Talent.
• Support the HR and Legal in implementing the D&T strategy and governance framework in accordance with agreed Global standard & processes.
• Persevere in the face of challenges and exhibit a steadfast resolve and relentless commitment to higher standards, which commands respect from followers.
• Provides a two-way, single point of contact between the Business Function and the Global Digital and Technology organization and able to work in a matrixed environment.
• Accountable for all technology within the business unit, acting as the single face of digital and technology for business users.
Operations:
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR and Legal processes through technology solutions.
• Work closely with HR and Legal teams to analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose system enhancements.
• Implement and maintain D&T systems that support sustainability activities and Monitor and report on the performance of sustainability D&T solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance, enhance user experience, and increase operational efficiency.
• Lead and manage the D&T delivery teams and external vendors that provide IT services and solutions for the HR and Legal domains, ensuring high quality, timely, and cost-effective outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate the IT performance and service levels for the HR and Legal functions, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities and resolving issues.
• Ensure the alignment of IT solutions with the business requirements, and priorities. Plan and oversee the IT project delivery, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risks.
• Manage the IT vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs. Monitor and report on the IT performance, benefits, and value realization. Ensure the IT compliance, security, and audit readiness.
Financial Result:
• Build and manage Functional budget in-line with global IT and corporate Finance guidelines.
• Manage relationship with relevant suppliers in coordination with procurement team to ensure cost effectiveness and benefit from acquired technologies.
Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop IT teams and talent.
