Coincrowd is the first of its kind social media platform dedicated to the cryptocurrency ecosystem. It is a safe and secure digital platform built for the community. From knowledge sharing through market data and news RSS feeds to published reports, traders/investors/miners/users will be able to learn about their favorite tokens, create groups and engage in interactive conversations with group members. Educational tools will be available to help educate the community and learn more about the fast-changing technology. Users will be able to track the performance of their crypto portfolio by connecting to their favorite exchanges and mining pools via an API as well as investing in their favorite projects and using the networks they produce. Coincrowd will enable members to acquire, house, build and engage with information, data and conversations according to their interests and demands. Coincrowd's vision is to be the largest crypto community, and our mission is to provide all stakeholders of the community with the best services and to support the growth of the industry to fast track its mass adoption.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have an I.T background working in the Finance sector (fintech), be ambitious, self-driven, proactive, and flexible to work long hours due to the demands of a startup business. They should be able to grow and manage a team from 10 to over 100, recruit a highly qualified and skilled team, and be up to date on the latest developments in blockchain. The candidate must be committed to the highest levels of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.

Qualifications

BSc / Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, MBA is a plus. Graduating from one of the top schools with exceptional grades.

Experience

Over 5 years experience as a COO of a full stack development team, 2+ years as a CTO of a large company, blockchain experience, crypto mining/trading experience is a plus, and work in the finance sector is a plus.

The Primary Tasks:

1. Coordinate and drive the platform development. Lead by example.
2. Help in defining the technical architecture, system design, and infrastructure.
3. Outline our short-, medium-, and long-term development roadmap and drive it forward.
4. Balance and prioritize customer requirements, developer resources, and costs with a view to this development roadmap.
5. Plan and drive sprints, managing hands-on, writing your own code and having your hands deep inside your team's code base.
6. Enjoy the challenge of building and growing a platform.
7. Consider yourself a full-stack developer.
8. Developing front end website architecture.
9. Designing user interactions on web pages.
10. Developing back end website applications.
11. Creating servers and databases for functionality.
12. Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
13. Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
14. Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
15. Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
16. Designing and developing APIs.
