We have partnered exclusively with a leading international snacks company, a major player with substantial operations spanning across Europe and Asia Our client is known for its iconic snack brands and ambitious growth vision, blending tradition with innovation to delight millions of consumers worldwide.

We are currently seeking an exceptional Group IT Director to strategically steer technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals, and to champion transformative digital strategies across multiple business units and regions.

Role Overview:

This is a highly influential position requiring an experienced technology leader who will partner closely with our client’s Group Chief Digital Officer (CDO). You will shape and implement a visionary IT strategy, enhancing operational excellence and contributing meaningfully to long-term business success.

️ Key Responsibilities:

• Quickly establish yourself within the business, comprehensively understanding strategic objectives, existing systems, and opportunities to add value swiftly and effectively.
• Spearhead large-scale digital transformation initiatives, particularly around enterprise-wide implementations such as ERP, ensuring seamless integration and realisation of tangible business benefits.
• Operate successfully within a complex matrix environment. Although you won’t directly manage teams, you'll influence BU IT Directors and various stakeholders to achieve strategic alignment and collective success.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and persuasive leader, skillfully guiding BU IT Directors to adopt strategic changes and new technological practices, driving lasting organizational transformation.
• Leverage extensive knowledge and understanding of end-to-end business processes—from manufacturing to supply chain, marketing, e-commerce, and support functions—to effectively contribute strategic solutions beyond standard IT frameworks.
• Act decisively and maintain composure in crisis situations, bringing your seasoned experience in cybersecurity incidents, navigating sensitive geopolitical scenarios, and robustly managing complex IT infrastructure and security landscapes.
• Foster positive relationships quickly, building trust and credibility across diverse teams and stakeholders, enhancing cooperation, and communication effectiveness.
• Play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's technology landscape, contributing strategically and operationally, while demonstrating stability and a desire to grow with the company long-term. This is an opportunity for someone motivated by impact rather than positional hierarchy.

Ideal Profile:

• An accomplished IT leader with a minimum of 10 years' experience in senior technology leadership roles within FMCG or comparable industries.
• Deep understanding of varied IT solutions across the full organizational value chain, including manufacturing execution systems, CRM, supply chain technologies, digital marketing, and e-commerce platforms.
• Proven success leading and embedding large-scale ERP or digital transformations across multinational operations.
• Exceptional communicator with persuasive interpersonal skills, able to manage complex stakeholder relationships, and foster a collaborative environment across multiple countries and cultures.
• Demonstrated resilience and effective decision-making during critical incidents, ideally having managed cybersecurity threats and challenging geopolitical market conditions.
• Strong strategic foresight coupled with hands-on execution abilities; comfortable balancing high-level planning with detailed tactical action plans.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline (Master’s Degree strongly preferred).
• Professional certifications such as PMP and familiarity with Agile methodologies would be advantageous.
