We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager-Security & Compliance to join our Transguard Cash team in Dubai.
Scope: Manage and implement security protocols within the Cash Services Department. Role functions include managing staff (security guards) and developing & implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures as per SOPs to ensure a secure and efficient operation. Coverage includes but is not limited to incidents, accidents, internal theft cases, external theft cases, court proceedings, and follow-up with government entities, police, and CID.
Incident Management - Keep close liaison with all concerned stakeholders and keep senior management informed about different assignments/tasks, with a special focus on shortage cases.
Financial
- Conduct investigations and present analysis on the shortages of CMC, ATM, SCDM, and CIT of TG Cash Services to minimize the financial impact.
- Ensure optimal use of resources to improve overall Security efficiency, translating into potential financial savings for Transguard.
- The quality of work is assessed and evaluated by ensuring staff follow SOPs.
- Adhere to budgets, and process improvement resulting in decreased cost.
Customer
- Liaise with Police and other law enforcement agencies about reporting/registration of suspicious cases and monitor their progress.
- Provide necessary evidence for legal follow-up, full extensive detailed reports, and recommend a sustainable future course of action.
- Record keeping of different events and incidences for analysis for future reference.
- Deployment of Security Guards and its coordination with the vendor/third party.
- Communication & coordination with regulatory authorities - Availability 24 hours.
Process
- The quality of work is assessed and evaluated by ensuring staff follow SOPs.
- Draw up and put in place a schedule of regular observations of all Cash Services operations to ensure SOPs are being followed and recommend SOPs for operational efficacy.
- Responsible for implementing security plans, such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management, and/or Investigations.
- Plan, install, and maintain security apparatus/access control/assets of the company and preserve all necessary evidence/recordings, etc. Ensure that all security equipment is always in working condition and arrange for prompt repair/replacement in case of any faults.
- Monitor and evaluate unit performance on all security issues and programs, recommending corrective action programs as appropriate.
- Keep close liaison with Police and other law enforcement agencies regarding reporting/registration of suspicious cases and monitor its progress and provision of necessary evidence for legal follow-up; report writing and recommend a sustainable future course of action. Record keeping of different events and incidences for analysis for future reference.
