We are currently recruiting for a Field Engineer-Technical Operations to join our Transguard Cash team in Dubai.

Scope: The SCM/ATM Field Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing Smart Cash Deposit Machines (SCDM) and Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). Field Engineers travel to customer sites, providing both technical and phone support. They ensure the smooth operation of SCDMs and ATMs, aiming to minimize downtime and enhance customer satisfaction.

Financial

1. Reduce the number of site visits by providing effective phone and remote support.
2. Verify all components during the first visit to avoid secondary visits, ensuring machines operate error-free for extended periods.
3. Fix hardware issues on-site whenever possible.

Customer

1. Activate new machines and provide practical training to customers.
2. Meet customer requirements and ensure their complete satisfaction.

Process

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on SCMs/ATMs, including replacing worn-out parts and fixing malfunctioning components.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose software and hardware issues on ATMs.
3. Implement and test new software on machines.
4. Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health & safety regulations.
5. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly with regards to security and data privacy.

Innovation

1. Implement new technologies based on end-to-end customer requirements.
2. Develop and deploy new ideas in machine mechanisms and software configurations to meet market demands.
3. Share innovative ideas with the business team to inform marketing strategies.
