Job Title: Digital Lead, Malaysia

Role summary and impact
- The Digital Lead role is a client leadership role that requires the development and enhancement of digital strategy, planning and activation of campaigns. You must be able to lead a full funnel digital client, building and supporting best in class structures, adoption frameworks and drive the digital agenda for Nestlé. Working in collaboration with operations, data and planning teams, the role will be to continue to elevate the digital floor in MY and drive innovation to push the ceiling.
- This role will also include market governance and adoption and driving the digital maturity agenda of Malaysia through market manifestation of regional and global initiatives.
For this role, you will need to have experience of running a fast-pace multi-brand account with a history of driving digital change management across market.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads the digital evolution of Nestlé Malaysia & orchestrate the adoption of global initiatives into local market practices.
- Co-builds the regional digital vision with client and connects this across annual strategy, quarterly planning and the overall digital maturity roadmaps.
- Builds frameworks to support teams and clients across WoW, data, analytics, measurement etc. and own the digital integration and flexible elements of these for MY categories and brands.
- Ensures best practices, processes and change management (digital maturity, T&L etc.) are adhered to across the market clusters.
- Supports in driving thought leadership with Client Lead, with a macro and micro view of the latest market trends, competitor understanding, brand objectives, historical performance and tapping in the whitespaces with relevant growth opportunities for Nestlé MY.
- Builds & establish strong relationships with the clients, partners as well as with internal cross functional teams.
- Connects regional/ global projects with media application with supportive co-ownership of innovation roadmaps (e.g. Cloud Solutions, AI). Supports in OOS project and leading in-market T&Ls in conjunction with regional/global teams.
- Drives and/or supports in key meetings and client workshops when required.
- Point of contact for regional/ global adoption and central ‘training’ from Nestlé global teams. Supports facilitating the Q&As.
Skills and experience
- Digital all-rounder with proven experience and strong understanding of multiple digital media channels (online display, social, paid search, SEO, programmatic, KOL, RDM, etc.) as well as a passionate following of new/emerging channels & technologies.
- Experience in dealing with varying levels of digital maturity (e.g. varying data levels, digital spends), audience insights, competitive ecosystem and market maturity (e.g. tech adoption, marketing spends etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, being able to confidently and clearly present work to clients, media owners and internal stakeholders. Experience & gravitas to lead projects and connect to senior weight clients.
- Understanding of analytical tools, dashboards and utilisation of these into digital insights, enhancement and impact to strategy, planning and/or activation.
- Ability to connect outcomes to business decisions and discuss insights with clients that can inform elements beyond media.
- Ability to thrive and work independently and with teams in an incredibly fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to quickly and creatively solve issues (both technical and operational).
- Track record of delivering high quality results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
