Vacancy for REHAB THERAPIST (ENERGY & REHAB)
Patient Care and Therapy:
• Conduct patient consultations to evaluate their therapy needs.
• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists/Physiotherapists, focusing on exercises, mobility aids, and therapeutic activities.
• Demonstrate proper use of mobility aids like crutches and walkers, ensuring patient safety and correct usage.
• Assist patients with exercises and use of therapy equipment to help regain strength, flexibility, and independence.
• Provide support to patients before and after treatment sessions, assisting with dressing/undressing under supervision.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of patient diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress under the supervision of the Head of the Rehab Department.
• Keep reports on patient outcomes and progress, including testimonial videos.
• Ensure all documentation follows the SOAPIER (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan, Intervention, Evaluation, Review) framework for physiotherapy assessment.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with doctors, nurses, paramedics, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.
• Engage with patients and their families to build trust and provide education on home exercises to enhance daily living activities.
• Conduct live sessions on social media platforms to share knowledge about rehabilitation therapy and physiotherapy.
Professional Development:
• Stay updated with advancements in rehabilitation and physiotherapy techniques.
• Be prepared to handle challenging cases and perform home therapy or house call sessions as needed.
• Participate in continuous learning to enhance therapeutic skills, particularly in manual exercises and movements.
