SALES ENGINEERING

This is an exciting opportunity to join Newton Automation (M) Sdn Bhd as a Sales Engineer. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and sales support to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions for their automation needs. This full-time role is based in Klang, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

1. Liaising with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored automation solutions
2. Preparing technical proposals and quotations for customers
3. Demonstrating and presenting automation products and solutions to customers
4. Assisting in the installation, commissioning, and after-sales support of automation systems
5. Providing technical training to customers on the use and maintenance of automation equipment
6. Collaborating with the engineering and product teams to gather feedback and improve product offerings
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and industry trends

What we're looking for

1. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
2. Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role within the automation industry
4. Strong technical understanding of automation systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA technologies
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into easy-to-understand terms for customers
6. Problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions to customer challenges
7. Familiarity with project management and customer relationship management practices
8. Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
