Qualifications:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Target candidate who is working in consulting firm and has experience in design and prepare authorities submission. With knowledge of electrical system design (LV, HT) design.
• Strong project management and technical skills are essential.
• Candidates should be a team player, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Candidates aspiring to attain Professional Engineer status are also encouraged to apply.
• Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop electrical systems for building services, including lighting, power, ELV and safety systems
• Design to support both commercial and industrial building services
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to develop designs from conceptual to detailed phases.
• Familiarity with authority submissions and regulations is required.
• Responsible to prepare designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
• Coordinate, prepare, and compile bid submission documents for tendering activities, and analyze results post-bidding.
• Monitor contractors’ performance, progress, and productivity.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues with contractors.
• Those with experience on JKR electrical project would be a plus
• Ensure construction adheres to the approved drawings and specifications.
