We have an excellent opportunity for someone like you to join our innovative team as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for high volume manufacturing for our Penang, Malaysia facility. You will support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes of electro-mechanical parts, sub-assemblies and final assemblies for new product deployment. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of products through rigorous process analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives. This will happen by you creating an efficient and consistent process by which new products are transitioned from NPI center to high volume production.

Position Details:
- Lead the transition of product manufacturing processes between international locations.
- Collaborate closely with multinational teams on high-volume manufacturing processes.
- Improve production efficiency by planning and analyzing process performance, workflow, capacity, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
- Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
- Proactively launch LEAN manufacturing-related projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, safety, and cost savings through the use of 6S, Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping, 8 Wastes and other lean methodologies.
- Problem-solving expert using tools such as Fault tree, KT, Fish Bone, PFMEA, etc. with the ability to summarize issues into clear, concise impact and recommendations.
- Ensure all production activities and processes comply with ISO standards and mandatory regulations.
- Estimate manufacturing cost, determine time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
- Create, update, and maintain manufacturing process instructions.
- Generate ECOs as part of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for setup and maintenance of assembly tools and fixtures, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning correctly.
Requirements:
- BS (IE/ME/EE) with 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electromechanical or Quality systems.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate effectively with international counterparts on a regular basis.
- PCBA, Quality, Reliability, Manufacturing, Cable/Harness, and Magnetics experience in one or more areas listed.
- Ability to learn quickly problem-solving techniques relating to manufacturing processes.
- Collaboration skills with a passion for manufacturing and operations.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Capable of effectively prioritizing work tasks based on production schedules, product criticality, and resource availability. Handle multiple testing related projects simultaneously.
- Ability to train and mentor production personnel.
- CAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) experience desired.
