To support the delivery of the required level of Mechanical Engineering in line with the business needs and project requirements. Working within the mutlidiscipline engineering teams to define and deliver Mechanical engineering deliverables appropriate to the project scope. Working to support full project lifecycle through the execution of projects, including design documentation and calculation, safety assessments, commissioning and start-up. Ensure end-user satisfaction is regarded as of utmost importance.

• Provide full support to ensure projects are delivered within SHE targets, within time, to budget and to the required quality (first time right).
• Provide input to the conceptual designs with respect to design and selection of key equipment’s (static & rotary) and technology requirements while working with internal and external specialists
• Generate basic and detailed engineering deliverables as required to support the execution of projects.
• Provide Mechanical and Piping scope cost estimates to Project Managers. Ensure all related information is suitably documented and updated.
• Review third party design work & documents to ensure compliance with the relevant standards.
• Support construction activities to ensure the project is delivered as per the approved design in order to deliver ‘first time right installation’.
• Prepare test plans, procedures and functional progress reports to ensure on time delivery of plant mechanical completion.
• Participate in risk assessments and safety studies of designs.
• Support the preparation of commissioning procedures and assist in the start-up activities and progress reporting
• Supports the development and implementation of Engineering Best Practices throughout the region.
• Delivers functional engineering in line with the Global Project Framework
• Provides engineering support activities for manufacturing facilities
• Ensures all engineering work meets the company best practice standards and statutory compliance.
• Proposes best available technology that will aid cost reduction, improvement in production quality, reduction of energy and total asset life cycle costs

• Project & Engineering design deliverables furnished as per scope, SHE targets met, within the budgeted schedule and costs.
• Timely completion of the actions in the risk and safety assessments
