The organisation is one of Malaysia’s most trusted and leading manufacturers of portable cabins, labour quarter cabins, PU cabins, engineering works, etc. It is specialist in temporary site facilities, site enabling work and involved mainly in modular construction and prefabrication construction, with more than 30 years’ experience.

1. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
2. Analyze financial data and present insights to the management team.
3. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to stakeholders.
4. Develop and manage the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
5. Monitor actual performance against budget, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
6. Support departments in preparing their budgets and forecasts.
7. Oversee the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
8. Ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions and records.
9. Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting.
10. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
11. Coordinate external audits and work closely with auditors to ensure successful audit outcomes.
12. Manage tax reporting and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
13. Monitor cash flow and manage cash reserves to ensure the company’s financial stability.
14. Develop strategies for effective cash management and optimize working capital.
15. Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and investment analysis.
16. Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
17. Collaborate with senior management in developing long-term financial strategies.
18. Provide financial insights to support business growth and expansion initiatives.
19. Participate in the development of corporate strategies and plans.
20. Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
21. Ensure team members are trained on accounting standards and financial procedures.
22. Conduct performance evaluations and support career development for team members.
23. Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
24. Ensure that the company has adequate insurance coverage and risk management policies in place.
25. Evaluate and implement financial systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
26. Continuously seek ways to improve financial processes and reporting.

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred.
2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
4. Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
5. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (added advantage)
8. Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays 8.30am – 5.30pm, Saturdays 8.30am – 12.30pm (Allowed to work from home)
