Director of Strategy and Corporate Services
As the Director of Strategy and Corporate Services, you will hold a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s strategic direction, overseeing key departments, and ensuring seamless collaboration among department heads. Reporting directly to the CEO, your responsibilities encompass strategic leadership, resource management, and fostering synergy among Head of Departments (HODs) in the respective Strategic Planning, Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, and Finance departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance to the HOD of Strategic Planning department to align the company’s initiatives with the Company’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure cohesive execution of the company’s strategic plan.
- Continuously assess and adapt strategies to meet key strategic milestones.
- Provide strategic guidance to the HOD of Human Resources department, ensuring alignment of HR strategies with the organization’s overall goals.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration within HR and other departments to support workforce needs and development.
- Promote a positive organizational culture and employee engagement.
- Work closely with the HOD of Marketing and Communications department to ensure marketing and communication strategies are in sync with the organization’s strategic vision.
- Maintain oversight of branding, public relations, and media efforts.
- Ensure consistent messaging and communication strategies across all channels.
- Collaborate with the HOD of Finance department to maintain financial oversight, ensuring financial strategies align with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Monitor financial performance and offer guidance to optimize resource allocation.
- Uphold compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Lead and mentor department heads, fostering a culture of high performance and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Set clear objectives for department heads, provide regular feedback, and assess their performance.
- Encourage professional development and skill enhancement among department leaders.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years of experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, or related roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and performance management.
- Experience in business development, partnership management, or M&A activities is a plus.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

SENIOR EXECUTIVE, MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
Job Descriptions:
- Work with internal support teams in PR, social media, events, branding, government relations, and project teams to ensure alignment of campaign schedules, consistency in communication, and smooth implementation of plans.
- Create marketing materials, including for events and tours.
- Update the website with new information.
- Handle media queries and oversee media coverage.
- Assist the Manager to oversee all social media.
- Plan and execute promotions or events and maintain the events and campaign calendar.
- Arrange with vendors for gift premiums and creation of marketing giveaways.
- Work with internal teams and external agencies on:
- Media analysis, planning, and buying (offline and online media)
- Ideation and conceptualization of campaign creatives
- Managing performance-driven digital marketing creatives
- Reporting of campaign performance
- Keep abreast of the latest advertising and promotion trends, digital innovations, and other communication channels to enhance advertising, promotions and other marketing efforts in accordance with corporate and brand image.
- Maintain a strong overview of competitor presence and tactics in digital marketing by conducting research on market trends, brand audiences, competitors, and the end-to-end consumer journey using tools such as Google Marketing Tools.
- Provide administrative support and assist with any ad-hoc day-to-day tasks as required by the team.
- Report and present to the hiring manager on assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Possess bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communication, advertising or any related field.
- Fluent in both Bahasa Melayu and English, written and spoken.
- A team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Able to work in outdoor environments.
- Possess valid driving license.
- Willing to travel.
Experience:
- At least 4 years’ experience in Marketing (including Digital), Communication, Advertising or any related field.
- Familiarity with performance marketing, Google Products, media planning and campaign budgeting.
- Experience in juggling multiple projects and deadlines, while being process-oriented and accountable to the line manager.
- Able to understand digital/campaign data and translate into insights for optimisation and campaign performance purposes.
- Customer service oriented with outstanding communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
