Mitsumi Distribution is hiring for a Marketing Specialist. In this role, your primary responsibility is to assist the Marketing Team in devising and implementing marketing strategies. You will be responsible for launching PR & communication activities, ensuring the success of planned and executed activities, presenting results and analysis, and assisting in all corporate activities ensuring brand representation and funding.

Vendor and Brand Management:

• Sending proposals to vendors and following up;
• Planning & execution of marketing activities for vendors;
• Claiming & payment follow up from vendors;
• Monthly marketing reports and vendor claim books update;

Marketing Activities:

• Planning and execution of Mitsumi events (e.g., Gitex, product launches, etc.), trade shows, digital campaigns, promotions, and other marketing activities, including ROI management and reporting;
• Preparing creative briefs to send to agencies;
• Securing internal approvals and payments approval for marketing activities;
• Managing activity claims, proof of execution submission to vendors, and payments follow up;
• Leading digital marketing activities, composing and posting online content on the company’s website and social media accounts;
• Writing marketing literature (brochures, press releases, proposals, presentations);
• Supporting writing of corporate announcements and press releases;
• Coordinating with the Design Team and supporting all design-related projects, from creating a designer's brief/concept to controlling and reviewing the design submissions and completion;
• Managing administrative tasks related to marketing procurement;
• Ensuring activities are well planned and completed on time;
• Negotiating to manage and optimize suppliers' performance;
• Preparing budgets, reports, and managing finance function;
• Understanding design research and the creative process;
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English; preparing internal marketing performance reports.

Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in a marketing position with a distribution company;
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task & meet strict deadlines;
• A fluent command of spoken & written English is a must;
• Good knowledge of video editing & photography and Illustrator is a plus;
• Proficiency in tools like Canva and Photoshop;
• Understanding of Branding and Design guidelines;
• Experience in content creation, press releases, writing social media posts & promoting content on social media.
