Effectively manage all senior site staff / foreman appointed to your site.
Ensure project timelines are met and strictly manage these according to an agreed schedule and communicate schedule deviations to contracts manager when they become known. Daily, bi-weekly, and monthly planning is critical to ensure no delays on the project.
Daily materials and long lead items all to be considered.
Snag lists are to be managed to completion in the required timeline provided.
Ensure all procurement is managed through the schedule and purchase orders obtained as per our client's system. Sourcing and adjudication on materials should be managed through BOQ and allowable document. Sourcing new suppliers and subcontractors is encouraged and will be agreed with the QS department.
Manage quality on all work and carry out checklist inspections as each trade is complete. Quality should be managed as per our client's quality management procedures.
Manage and co-ordinate subcontractors/suppliers as well as evaluate claims and submit payment certificates to QS department on time and per company procedures.
Interface with Client/Architect on daily issues/queries and respond within an acceptable time frame as required.
Attend site meetings as required and complete daily site diaries as per our client's system.
Oversee the Health & Safety of the site through the right channels in terms of adherence and working with safety officers. An H&S safety officer will be provided and should be managed.
Report any site-related issues in a timely manner with proposed solutions.
Assist with managing the contract on site day to day and report any contract deviations to Site Agent. Manage communication with professionals and sub-contractors as per our client's communication management procedures and systems in a professional manner.
Manage and audit store controller booklet to ensure tools, materials, and accessories are accounted for at all times.
