National Sales Manager
Qualifications and Experience:
- Sales and Marketing diploma/degree (ideal)
- At least 4-6 years experience within Sales Management role (ideally in the Bedding Manufacturing/Similar Industry)
- Experienced with several systems (Syspro, etc.)
- Full understanding of product development and production costs
- Microsoft Office
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
- Keep abreast of new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
- Identify new markets for the Companys products or services
Negotiate pricing terms with vendors or suppliers - Develop new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and contacts within the industry
- Develop sales strategies and plans to achieve specific objectives or goals
- Develop and implement training programs for new employees on proper sales techniques and procedures
- Coordinate activities with other departments within the organization, such as marketing or finance
- Evaluate performance of sales representatives and provide feedback to improve performance
- Maintain contact with clients, customers, or other individuals involved in the sale process
- Manage national QS program, aligning stock mix and stock levels to meet sales targets
