Assisting the New Truck Sales Team with general sales administration as well as ensuring smooth processing of all administrative tasks including but not limited to processing of orders.

Attention to detail is essential for this role.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Grade 12 or equivalent
2. 2-3 years experience in an Administrative role
3. Knowledge of the DAF operating procedure advantageous
4. ERP knowledge advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Update quote register
2. Request to release from bond store and on Natis – New Vehicles only
3. Add client details on ERP System and collate all relevant inputs for invoicing purposes
4. Issuing worksheets & Orders to Workshop
5. Keep up to date with vehicle prep progress
6. Loading PRs on Procurement System and generating Orders as required
7. Liaising with suppliers to arrange extras fitments at the various branches as required
8. Processing Supplier invoices for account payable purposes
9. Create and maintain accurate recordkeeping of customer and vehicle files in hard copy and electronic formats
10. Generate bank / proforma invoices for customer finance facility purposes
11. Issuing of Temporary Permits as per National Traffic Act (if Required)
12. Arrange Dealerstock / COF / Registration / License as required
13. Create provisions / Write Down of forecasted additional costs
14. Month end invoicing
15. Facilitate the delivery of registration documents to bank or client
16. Update Delivery Register, DAF Vehicle Population register & Stock List for Sub Saharan Africa
17. Driver training scheduling
18. Engraving of makers / ID plates for new trucks
19. Month-end reports to Sales Director
20. Managing Labour broker employees as assigned
21. Attend to further instructions or projects as required
