Our client is looking for a Finance Manager for their manufacturing plant.

Job Summary :
The Project Manager Finance will oversee the financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting of a manufacturing project.

They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial discipline, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.

This role requires strong financial acumen, project management expertise, and experience in manufacturing / industrial project execution.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Financial Planning & Budgeting : Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives. Conduct financial feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and cost-benefit evaluations. Track project financial performance against forecasts and report variances.
  2. Cost Control & Optimization : Monitor capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx) to ensure efficiency. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to optimize expenses. Ensure cost allocations are accurate and aligned with financial policies.
  3. Financial Reporting & Compliance : Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management. Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal financial policies. Coordinate audits, risk assessments, and financial due diligence.
  4. Stakeholder Coordination : Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and operations teams to align financial strategies. Work with external consultants, banks, and regulatory bodies on financial matters. Support negotiations with vendors and contractors from a financial perspective.
  5. Risk Management & Governance : Identify and mitigate financial risks related to the project. Implement robust internal controls to safeguard financial integrity. Ensure timely approvals and documentation of financial transactions.

Qualifications & Experience :

  1. Education : CA / CPA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  2. Experience : 10+ years in financial management, with at least 3 years in project finance for manufacturing or industrial projects. Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and cost control. Experience in working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Knowledge of IFRS / GAAP and compliance regulations related to manufacturing.
