Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Johannesburg, South Africa (Denver)

Company: Manufacturing

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08h00 to 14h00 for half day

Benefits: Includes provident fund, medical aid is optional

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our client's team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of managing financial processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
2. Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
3. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
4. Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
5. Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial compliance and transparency
6. Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support
7. Stay current on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and best practices

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. Professional qualification such articles completed with SAIPA/SAICA
3. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting or related role
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
5. Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
8. Manufacturing industry exposure
