Key responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Perform surveys at clients’ homes and attend to customers’ moving needs, including local moves, sea and air shipments, pet relocations, and storage.
- Attend survey appointments well prepared and researched on destination customs requirements.
- Confirm survey appointment date and time with client a day before the survey and be punctual.
- Use SurveyPro to complete a detailed inventory of effects to be transported.
- Present the company’s services positively using various materials and demonstrations.
- Complete survey sheets accurately, maintaining a +- 5% accuracy on survey volumes.
- Document survey details and customer commitments in accordance with Move Management procedures.
- Work out JC for each Service File and review margins with Sales Manager.
- Raise Support Requests in Interact for all international moves.
- Follow-up and negotiate with clients to book jobs with the highest possible gross margins.
- Document all follow-up calls in Inteact under Sales Follow-up.
- Update Interact/MATS and prepare a Booking Form once a job is confirmed.
- Conduct a handover call with the client to confirm details and introduce the designated Move Manager.
- Ensure all booked jobs are handed over to the Move Manager within 48 hours of confirmation.
- Submit a Sales Activity Report (SAR) every Friday by 5 p.m.
- Review all lost or cancelled jobs with Sales Manager or Division Manager.
- Handle designated corporate accounts and build good working relationships.
- Attend networking activities after working hours to generate more enquiries.
- Collaborate effectively with Move Managers, Operations, and Traffic.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
