What You’ll Do

As the Customer Quality Engineer, Specifically, you will possess following skillset:
- Act as the primary interface between the company and customers, addressing quality-related inquiries and concerns.
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their quality expectations and requirements.
- Communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers to ensure alignment and resolution of quality issues via the establishment of improvement in the plant.
- Utilize problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D) to address and resolve quality issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects. Participate in cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Documentation and Reporting: (e.g., Presentation/PPT) Prepare and maintain weekly / monthly quality documentation, including reports, procedures, and specifications. Track and report on quality performance data to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate customer audits within process QA, internal team and follow up on audit findings. Liaise with other departments, such as operations, engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on quality-related matters. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality management.
- May be required to travel to customer sites for audits or problem resolution.
- Able to interact with customer independently and professionally Initiate customer survey, compile and disseminate the finding and action plan preparation.
- Support in Internal Quality Audit, Manufacturing Process and Product Audit as well as supplier audit.
- Implement and maintain QMS documents with annual review perform.
- Perform other tasks assigned by superior or company from time to time.
Who You Are

- Degree in an Engineering Discipline, Quality related courses.
- Good knowledge of problem-solving tools such as 7 QC tools, SPC, DOE, FMEA, Poka-Yoke, 8D and etc.
- Experience in calibration is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001 and ISO/TS16949.
- Knowledge in AS9100C is an added advantage.
- Customer focus and able to work cross-functionally at fast pace to meet customer requirements.
- Good communication skills and leadership to drive quality improvement projects.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- A fast learner and able to perform the work with minimum supervision.
- Qualified internal auditor for ISO9001 and ISO/TS 16949 is an added advantage.
