About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join the Housekeeping team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

1. To check all the cleaning of rooms by the team is at a high standard.
2. To ensure that all rooms have a program for being thoroughly cleaned.
3. To ensure that all furniture and soft furnishings have a specific cleaning program and that it is adhered to.
4. To ensure that maintenance issues have been reported and repaired to ensure guest satisfaction and staff efficiency.
5. To ensure that all storerooms are kept tidy and in good order.
6. To report any incidents, complaints, suspicious persons, or safety hazards immediately.
7. To report any accidents to Security.
8. To liaise with the Engineering Department to ensure that all repeated faults are repaired and checked to the Hotel standards.
9. To assist the Housekeeping Manager in the standards of all floral and plant arrangements throughout the inside and outside of the hotel.
10. To liaise daily with the room attendants regarding staffing levels, operations, and all daily activities.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

1. 3 years of experience within the international luxury hospitality industry.
2. Degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major.
3. Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
4. Regional experience.
