Job Purpose

Provide maintenance oversight on electrical systems and components to ensure plant safety and reliability. Oversee electrical maintenance work teams performing electrical and electrical related work to deliver high quality to ensure safe and reliable operations. Provides oversight on implementing Conduct of Maintenance on the assigned electrical systems and components, in order to ensure plant safety and reliability. Provides overall supervision to the assigned electrical maintenance teams.

Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

Electrical Maintenance

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

1. Oversee electrical maintenance to ensure all tasks are performed in a timely manner and with quality to achieve operational readiness & to operate with the highest level of safety and reliability.
2. Review the electrical maintenance programs, procedures & oversee their implementation to ensure their success.
3. Monitor in liaison with engineering, the performance of:

• The Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) electrical equipment to include motors, motor generator sets, Reactor Coolant Pump (RCP) motors, Motor-Operated Valves (MOVs), crane and lighting, etc. to confirm appropriate function.
• The Balance Of Plant (BOP) electrical equipment including power transformers, Gas Insulated Bus (GIB), switchgear (SWGR), protective relays, electrical motors, main generator in diesel generator sets, uninterrupted power supply (UPS) systems and MOVs to confirm appropriate function.

Professional Certifications

Qualifications

Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

• 6 years of relevant experience, out of which:

• 2 years Power Plant Experience.
• 1 year Nuclear Power Plant Experience.

Preferred - 10 years APR-1400 or OPR-1000 maintenance and engineering experience.
