Job Description

An Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of hotel rooms, public areas, and facilities. They support the Housekeeping Manager in managing staff, scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring high levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager enforces policies and procedures related to housekeeping operations to maintain a sanitary and welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate daily tasks.
• Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and routines.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
• Implement and enforce safety and sanitation policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
