Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) to drive revenue growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and industry stakeholders to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities in the MICE sector, ensuring competitive positioning.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that effectively promote MICE offerings and increase visibility.
  • Manage and oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts to track performance against goals and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Coordinate with operational teams to ensure seamless execution of events and client satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff, fostering a high-performing team culture focused on results and continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is essential for a foundational understanding of the industry.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the MICE sector is required, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Certifications in sales or event management, such as CMP (Certified Meeting Professional), are highly desirable.
  • Experience working with international clients and familiarity with global MICE trends will set candidates apart.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage in this multicultural industry.
  • Strong technical skills in CRM software and event management platforms are essential for efficient operations.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills are crucial for building client relationships and closing deals.
