Job Purpose

The Senior Executive – Planning & Operations role is pivotal to the company's success, acting as the internal interface between operational departments and external clients. This role ensures high customer satisfaction and operational profitability.


Core Duties And Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and operate small to medium-scale events, serving as the main contact between clients and internal teams.
  • Build strong client relationships, ensure excellent customer service, and handle queries or complaints effectively.
  • Coordinate with external agencies (e.g., Police, transport providers) and internal departments to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Implement event processes, ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, and meet legal and documentation requirements.
  • Prepare event requirements through CRM systems, clearly communicating with clients and internal departments.
  • Manage event budgets, track costs, maximize revenue, and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Reconcile financials post-event and provide accurate data for invoicing.
  • Generate detailed event reports and key performance indicators for management review.
  • Understand market positioning of events and assess collective impacts of simultaneous activities.
  • Evaluate event success from multiple customer perspectives (organizers, exhibitors, visitors, internal teams).
  • Conduct professional presentations and site tours to support sales and secure business.
Education And Skills
  • University degree level, preferably in Events or Hospitality Management.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet and Email.
  • Knowledge of CRM.
  • Report Writing.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety / IOSH.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD.
