A SharePoint Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of SharePoint environments, ensuring that they meet business needs and function optimally.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a SharePoint Engineer.
SharePoint Administration: Proficiency in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server 2019, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
Site Collection and Site Management: Experience in creating, configuring, and managing site collections, sites, libraries, and lists.
Customization and Development: Skills in developing custom solutions using SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, Power Apps, and client-side technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Integration: Knowledge of integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, Power BI) and third-party applications.
Workflow Design: Experience in designing and implementing workflows using SharePoint Designer or Power Automate.
Security and Permissions Management: Understanding of SharePoint security models, permissions, and user roles to manage access control effectively.
Data Management: Proficiency in managing and organizing data within SharePoint, including metadata, content types, and taxonomies.
Backup and Recovery: Knowledge of backup strategies and disaster recovery processes for SharePoint environments.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize SharePoint performance.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, including technical teams and end users.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, facilitating communication between IT and business units.
Training and Support: Experience in providing training and support to users, helping them leverage SharePoint effectively.
