About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Associate to focus exclusively on generating new business and driving growth. This is a pure sales role, ideal for someone passionate about identifying opportunities and closing deals. While candidates with experience in the digital solutions sector are preferred, we also welcome those with a proven ability to secure business in other industries. This role is dedicated to business acquisition and does not involve account management. We are seeking candidates with a clear focus on bringing in new business.

Key Responsibilities:

• New Business Acquisition: Identify and secure new clients to expand the company's portfolio
• Market Expansion: Develop strategies to target new sectors and maximise revenue growth
• Lead Generation: Create and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through effective sales techniques
• Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and pitches to potential clients
• Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals
• Performance Optimisation: Track sales metrics, refine strategies, and ensure consistent achievement of targets

Requirements:

• Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated ability to acquire and retain new business. Experience in the digital solutions/web development/digital marketing sector is a plus but not mandatory
• Experience Level: 3-7 years of total experience in business development, with a minimum of 2 years in your most recent role
• Versatility: Candidates with experience in other sectors are welcome if they can showcase a strong sales track record
• Independence: A self-starter with the ability to operate with minimal supervision while delivering results
• Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation abilities
• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software
