Job summary
A health services organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to support students with communication challenges. This role involves assessing and developing therapy plans to improve students' speech and language skills through individualized sessions and collaborative strategies with educators and parents. Candidates should have a relevant degree, a professional license in Abu Dhabi, and experience in an educational setting. Fluency in Arabic is required.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate students’ speech and communication abilities.
- Develop individualized therapy plans for students.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve communication.
- Collaborate with teachers on language development strategies.
- Train parents on supporting communication goals.
- Document student progress and update therapy plans.
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan meetings.
- Support students with speech delays and communication challenges.
