Job summary
A leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to assess and treat patients with communication disorders. The role includes managing complex cases, collaborating with healthcare teams, and contributing to service development. Candidates should be skilled in providing care for diverse patient groups and have experience in clinical governance. This position offers a chance to make a significant impact in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Independently assess and treat patients with speech and language disorders.
- Manage a caseload of complex clients, including Arabic speakers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for person-centered care.
- Contribute to clinical governance and service development.
- Participate in audits and research.
- Provide specialist training to healthcare staff, patients, and carers.
The Speech and Language Therapist will independently assess and treat patients of all ages with speech, language, cognitive-communicative, voice, and swallowing disorders. Managing a caseload of complex clients—including Arabic first-language speakers—the role provides specialized therapy, second opinions, and expert advice, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective, person-centered care.
The post holder will also contribute to clinical governance and service development, participate in audits and research, and provide specialist training to healthcare staff, patients, and carers.
