Join us in the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. We maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician. The focus of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician role is to ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, to ensure preventative maintenance is conducted on time to a high standard and to provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.

Shift Pattern: Day Shift

Key job responsibilities

1. Promote Safe working practices in all work carried out ensuring compliance with Amazon safety standards and regulations.
2. Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
3. React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected stakeholders and work efficiently to fix the issue.
4. Promote continuous improvement culture by analyzing breakdowns and propose changes and suggestions for better performance to the line manager.
5. Ensure high levels of equipment availability/reliability to operations team.
6. Manage the contractors and ensure adherence to Amazon standards within the site premises.
7. Monitor daily site utilities and sustainability performance and provide cause of change for any undesired results.
8. Observe housekeeping and cleaning practices and ensure providing the highest level of janitorial services.
9. Daily respond to maintenance work orders and provide relevant response to RME customers and arrange needed resources to perform the task.
10. Perform spare parts regular survey to detect any gap and inform line manager and RME planner with the needed spares.
11. Provide On job Training to RME technicians and develop their skills matrix to ensure that they have the right level of competency to perform the tasks.

A day in the life
Daily Monitor and respond to RME customers requests through trouble ticketing system and always show customer obsession behavior. Plan and observe the annual maintenance contracts vendor activities within the shift and prepare for upcoming shifts.

- Engineering Degree in Electrical or Mechanical
- Experience in dealing with reputable CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
- Basic Knowledge about Automation and PLC systems
- Experience fault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment) / Automation systems.
- Experience in leading team of Technicians
- Experience in interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters

- Experience in Auto-CAD drawing
- Experience of sortation machines
- Experience in troubleshooting through PLC
