Job summary
A leading mineral processing company is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee safety and operations across various facilities in KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga. This role involves continuous monitoring of pumping operations and water management, alongside managing a team of pump attendants. The ideal candidate should possess experience in mineral processing, effective communication skills, and the ability to optimize operational outputs. You will be responsible for ensuring safety standards and adherence to environmental policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in monitoring mineral processing facilities.
- Ability to manage stormwater pumping during heavy rainfall.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and briefings with the team.
- Monitor water management activities to ensure safety.
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Optimize quality outputs through effective operations.
- Lead the team of pump attendants for efficient operations.
