Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Calypso Software Engineer to relocate to Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess 7–10 years of hands-on Calypso experience, strong Java skills, and end-to-end implementation experience across various financial products. This role involves working with integrations and understanding key back-office operations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams will be essential.

Our Banking client in Dubai is looking for an experienced Calypso Software Engineer with strong front-to-back implementation expertise to relocate to Dubai.
- 7–10 years of hands-on Calypso experience (v15.2+), including architecture, modules, and APIs
- Strong Java development skills (Java 7+), Oracle PL/SQL, and Calypso data model knowledge
- End-to-end implementation experience across Fixed Income, FX, Interest Rate, Money Market, and Credit derivatives
- Proven experience with Calypso Risk (ERS), including Limit and VaR setup
- Integration experience with Open APIs and market data feeds (Bloomberg, Reuters, TOMS)
- Good understanding of P&L, accounting, curves, market data, and back-office operations
- Experience with JBoss, Gradle, and troubleshooting distributed Calypso environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across front, middle, and back office teams
