Job summary
A luxury restaurant in Stellenbosch is seeking a permanent Waiter or Waitress to offer exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have Grade 12 and preferably at least 1 year of experience in a luxury environment. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential. The role includes greeting guests, taking orders, and maintaining table standards. If you're enthusiastic and well-presented, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Qualifications
- Preferably at least 1 year previous waiter/waitress experience.
- Preferably experience in a luxury/5-star environment.
- Comfortable dealing with distinguished clientele.

- Greet guests at assigned tables and provide menus and wine lists.
- Take accurate food and drinks orders.
- Bill the guest correctly.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance.

Delaire Graff Restaurant is looking for a permanent Waiter or Waitress to provide excellent service to ensure great customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role.
- Greet guests at assigned tables and ensure each guest has received a menu and wine list.
- Know all items on the menu and the basic ingredients and method of preparation of each.
- Ensure tables are set with linens, silverware and glasses
- Take accurate food and drinks order,
- Ensure that all orders are received timeously by bar and kitchen staff.
- Clears all dirty cutlery and crockery from the table once guests have finished using them.
- Offers desserts and coffee to guests.
- Bill the guest correctly.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
- Ensure that your uniform is clean
- Grade 12
- Preferably at least 1 year previous waiter/waitress experience
- Preferably experience in a luxury/5-star environment
- Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system
- Basic math skills
- Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and active listener
- Attentive and patience for customers
- Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele
- Must be well-presented

- Enthusiastic personality
- Own transport/Reliable transport
