Position : General Manager

Location : Southern Suburbs, Cape Town

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth functionality.
• Lead and mentor staff across all departments, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve overall service and customer satisfaction.
• Manage financials, including budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with Halaal standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Address any venue-related issues promptly and effectively.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

• Maintain high standards of overall service and guest satisfaction.
• Achieve financial targets and manage budgets efficiently.
• Ensure staff compliance with Halaal standards, health and safety protocols.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Successfully manage and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure timely and effective resolution of any venue-related issues.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in a Halaal environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
• Ability to handle high-pressure environments with ease.
• A degree in hospitality management or related field is a plus.

Salary : Negotiable depending on experience.
